- DevOpsDays MSP day 2 getting started with Jeff Sussna!

- Thank you DevOpsDays MSP for opportunity to sponsor a great event!
- The primary objective of development teams is to create new services and applications.
- The primary objective of tech operations is to insure 24x7 operations, which all change threatens.
- Any tech organization that doesn’t acknowledge, embrace and empathize around these two facts has a broken culture.
- Agree with this @beerops.

- There are places where developers are not on call? Technology is on the hook, not just one part.
- Yikes. That’s a lot of red.

- “There is no root cause.” - Ian Malpass
- “Root cause” dismisses the inherit complexity in large systems.
- I prefer the term “incident report” over “root cause analysis” because oftentimes there is no root cause.
