“Just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round.”
Even the typography of the logo is the same. Still, both are decent shows.

You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. — Tyler Durden
Bent Nail IPA
My brother-in-law Denny gave me a bottle of this Bent Nail IPA from Red Lodge Ales in Montana. They were just out there and enjoyed the brew. It was a nice bottle of beer and notably hoppy, true to its IPA calling. Nicely done!
Stock Charts in HTML5
HumbleFinance produces really nice looking, smooth and interactive charts in HTML5 using Canvas. Very nice. At MarketWatch we had been trying to do this several years ago but it was really hard to get the user experience we wanted. I think browser technology has finally reached the point where you can do this stuff right. (via Daring Fireball)
iPad Ordered!
Placed the order this morning for the iPad and am excited to see the future of touch computing in early April. I wasn’t sure what one to get, so I decided to go in the middle with the 32 GB. It is hard to know how much space we will want on these devices.
Lil’ Brother Playing Bass
Shut up and go play the bass.
I’ve heard really good things about Lift Bridge beers and I finally got to try a couple. The rumors were true. Definitely seek out this local brew.

Tron Legacy Trailer ← Wow! I can’t wait to see this! Block your calendar for December 17, 2010.
I’m 1000% jokey and your 100% jokey. — Mazie
Forks over Knives looks like a great documentary. I’ve read the book, The China Study, and it makes a strong case.
Flavors.me ← Having a personal landing page is getting more popular. I like the concept, but I don’t want to have this hosted elsewhere. We could easily build these sites with some specialized WordPress themes.
Avett Brothers, one of my favorite new bands, was on Austin City Limits. It’s worth watching.
I’ve been looking at my blog and feeling total blockage. Is it the theme? Is it my fingers. I have no idea. Block.
Dinner in New House
Today we closed on our new house. It was an exciting day filled with activity and signing many, many sheets of paper. To celebrate the closing we moved a handful of things into the new house including Mazie’s play table and decided to have dinner at the new place from Broder’s Deli.
We don’t actually move in for a little bit after painting and some new carpet.
I’d really like a new MacBook Pro to have Core i7 and two eSATA-II ports. I’m planning on going laptop only very soon.
