I just installed the WordPress application on my iPhone and am testing it out. It will be fun to be able to post and edit on the road!

FYI, I installed WP for the ipod touch and when I clicked the preview it auto-published and sent a email update to the 100 users of the softball website.
Are iphone posts full posts or a half twitter and half post?

Yep. Happened yesterday. When I post it sends the email so that is an intended action. When I logged in the first time I was just trying to get it to work. DIdn’t write anything and tapped preview. It posted the info below and emailed.

I thought the application was pretty easy to install. The design look pretty decent.

    @ Oliver –

There was a bug that interfered with certain plugins while the iPhone app was creating a preview. Sorry to hear it sent out a blank post for you.

This is fixed in version 1.1 which just hit the App store: http://iphone.wordpress.org/2008/08/04/version-11-live/
