First spotting of a Tesla Roadster in Minneapolis. Parked outside of Café Lurcat. Given the plates I’m guessing it is someone from Z.Vex Effects car.

I’ve seen a Tesla here in the mile high also. I actually saw it on the road. I was driving home from the airport and saw it just as I was merging onto I-70.

I forgot to add that this was either last year or almost 2 years ago as it was in the summer when I saw a Tesla. I should also add that all the manufacturers test their prototypes out here due to the altitude. I’ve seen cars with Michigan plates (not a big deal) except said plates say manufacturer on the bottom.

Very nice cars aren’t they? I’m out here in Palo Alto right now and just saw another blue one here. I was really mostly surprised to see one in Minneapolis. What do you do if it needs service?

I guess it is good to have goals! :-)

@ Jamie. Yes, I thought the Tesla’s looked great. I’m surprised to hear that there is one in Minneapolis, but then again not really. I would guess it’s a summer driver like a Porshe or Ferrari out there. I couldn’t see driving it in the winter. I would presume that you would get the car serviced at the dealer as it will probably be many years before a “regular” shop will be able to work on them.
