You don’t know me — I’m a fellow marathoner and just stumbled upon Jamie’s post of your accomplishment. It’s been more than a month since your event, but a feat as great as finishing your first marathon is worth commenting on, even late. Awesome job!

Glad to hear you’re recovered and ready for more races! Maybe you’ll consider the 2008 ING NYC Marathon next November?

Congrats indeed! I especially love how she decided to run the marathon on her own terms.

Does it seem like interest in these things are taking off lately? Maybe it’s a coincidence but this year there seems to be far more people I know, or people who know people I know, running marathons.
