		<description>It&#039;s OK to &quot;rag&quot; on Tufte. Anyone, so utterly self-impressed, should be taken to task for a sub-par effort. Especially when I&#039;m dropping $50 (or was it $60?) on it.

Tufte has his moments, and there are chapters in my copies of his books that have seen quite a bit of wear, but some of his stuff seems to exist only to make all of the books about the same thickness on the shelf.

(I liked the sparklines section too.)</description>
